School counsellor

School counselling staff are members of the Wyndham College Well-being team.

A teacher may recommend the service by referring a student to the school’s Well-being team. As a parent or carer, you may refer your child directly to the school counselling service. Students can also self-refer to the service.

The school counselling service can:

  • support students who are worrying about school work, friends, getting in trouble at school or feeling down
  • help parents and carers make decisions about your child’s education
  • assess a student’s learning and behaviour
  • help teachers and students identify and address disabilities that may affect learning
  • liaise with other agencies regarding student wellbeing.

School counselling is confidential.

Our School Counsellors are Anna and Tracey.

Parent referrals

To refer your child to the school counsellor please download, print and complete the referral to school counsellor form and hand it into the front office. This form provides information to the School Counsellor that may assist them in providing care and support for your child.

Alternatively, you can also contact the School on 02 9208 7100 and request that your child be seen by the Counsellor.

Student referrals

To self refer please collect an appointment slip from the counsellors office in the front of "A" block near the front entry door to the school. Fill in the information and leave the slip under the door.
