Science

Wyndham College science teachers provide you with meaningful, relevant and innovative learning experiences that prepare you for careers within STEM related industries. Opportunities are available to study physics, chemistry, senior science, biology, marine studies, earth and environmental sciences and agriculture.


Technology and applied sciences

At Wyndham College, we develop in our students the ability to be able to consider and be aware of the impact that designers and the nature of design has upon the world.

The technology and applied studies (TAS) faculty utilises both traditional and industry standard technologies to provide students with opportunities to engage in innovative design activities from a creative and practical aspect.


AV130316 Certifivate III in Aviation ( Remote Pilot - Visual Line of Sight)

 

Wyndham College has teamed up with UAVAIR to deliver this external Vet course for our students on site. The course provides students with 240 indicative hours of unmanned aerial vehical training.  On successful completion of the course, students will gain:

  • Certificate III in Aviation (Remote Pilot - Visual Line of Sight)
  • Remote pilots licence (CASA)
  • Aeronautical Radio Operators Certificate  (AROC).

Course overview

Developed by leaders in the industry, UAVAIR's Certificate III in Aviation course has been disigned to give students the skills needed to operate multi-rotot UAV's to the highest standards. Our Certificate III in Aviation (Remote Pilot - Visual Line of Sight) provides all the training and qualifications students need to fly drones in a professional setting.

This course provides students with 240 indicative hours of unmanned aerial vehicle training. Students will graduate with all the skills needed to enter the UAV industry and operate as a professional UAV pilot. Students will complete the course with a minimum of 10 hours flight time for each student, as well as simulator training and mastering of a microUAV.
