Industrial arts facilities

Students at Wyndham College have access to a range of course that aim to develop their work ready skills in a variety of occupations.

Teaching and learning in courses such as construction, hospitality, metal and timber working are all supported by our industrial arts facilities. Many of these courses are VET subjects which means students are able to complete a nationally accredited qualification whilst completing their HSC.

Our workshops for both metal and timber working are complete with a large variety of machines and tools to assist students in the completion of their major works and construction courses.

This includes:

• laser cutter
• 3d printer
• welding equipment
• industrial saws
• hand and power tools

Our two large industrial kitchens (Tradewynds and D block) provide students with the feeling of being inside a working restaurant as they complete food technology and hospitality courses. 

Each facility is equiped with a wide variety of industry standard equipment found in large scale working kitchens.
