Our High Potential & Gifted Education Policy promotes challenge and engagement for every student at Wyndham College across the following four domains of potential:

Wyndham College identifies and addresses the learning needs of high-potential and gifted students through our highly rated Leaders & Achievers - Platinum Program. We recognise that HPGE students have advanced learning capacity compared to same-age students and require talent development opportunities as well as differentiated teaching and learning practices to ensure their specific learning needs are met.

Domains of Potential

Wyndham College offers opportunities to develop student talent across the four domains of potential as described in Gagne's Model of Giftedness. These opportunities include:

enrichment, extension and acceleration in selected subjects
extra-curricular experiences, performances, projects, exhibitions and competitons across faculties
comprehensive goal setting, wellbeing and mentoring programs
partnerships with industry, university, TAFE, Collegiate etc..
